FURNACE

A rv furnace is the main ingredient in keeping a camper warm during those cold winter months. The furnace is a propane burning unit that is controlled by a 12v source. There are a few different moving parts in a furnace that allows heat to be produced, those same parts also allow the unit to go into safe mode if sufficient air flow isn’t met, propane or voltage. During the cold months we see a lot of furnaces that render useless due to several different problems that inhibit the use of a furnace. Sadly some issues such as a cracked burner chamber can allow proper operation of the furnace but will let carbon monoxide into your camper which can cause serious injury or death. If you are having issues with your furnace, please call a technician or take to a local dealer for further diagnosing.
